Every POST /v1/headless/embed/* link opens for 3 hours by default. To shorten that window, send options.expiresIn as a positive integer followed by h, m, or s, for example { "options": { "expiresIn": "5m" } }. The inclusive range is 30s to 3h. Malformed values, non-string values, and values outside that range return HTTP 400 with the field name, limits, and received value.

After the link expires it cannot open a new session. An already-open session continues to renew for up to 24 hours from the link's initial issuance, unless its issuing API key is revoked. Renewal does not extend the original link's opening window.
